The list of fireworks spots has been released by Sharjah Investment and Development Authority (Shurooq).
Al Majaz Waterfront
Al Majaz Waterfront at Sharjah Corniche will have breathtaking 8-minute fireworks lighting up the Khalid Lagoon’s skyscape.
The visitors will also enjoy special flyboard and musical shows from 7:45am onwards. This destination is home to several restaurants and cafes that cater to everyone.
Al Majaz Waterfront is a leisure destination which is known for its diverse dining experiences. It is a favorite spot for families during New Year’s Eve and attracts thousands of visitors over the past few years.
Al Noor Island
If you are a foodie, then Al Noor Island is best place for New Year’s Eve dining experience. The tranquil atmosphere of this destination can be enjoyed from 9:00 pm until midnight on December 31.
The ‘By the Bay’ dining at the Al Noor Island offers visitors a unique view of the fireworks displays in a stunning and peaceful atmosphere. Tickets, including the dinner, are priced at Dhs340 for adults and Dhs150 for children.
Khorfakkan Beach
The one of the most superb beaches in UAE, Khorfakkan Beach, will usher in New Year with stunning fireworks along with several other shows.
Apart from dazzling fireworks, the beach visitors can have a scrumptious dinner from a variety of cuisines from restaurants and cafes located at the beautiful Khorfakkan beachfront destination.
Mleiha Archaeological Center
If you want to welcome the New Year away from the city’s hustle and bustle, then the Mleiha Archaeological Center can a best choice for you and your family.
At this destination you will have a memorable desert camping experience, unforgettable overnight camping, along with dance, music and stargazing.
The New Year’s Eve at Mleiha will host live shows including the traditional Tanoura Dance, Fire Dance and Oud performance. Visitors can also explore the stars and planets with the assistance of experienced guides at the booth arranged at the campsite.
After enjoying a buffet dinner and variety of shows, the visitors will spend the night at the peaceful deserts of Mleiha in the camps with bonfires. The experience will start at 6.30 pm on December 31 with a free museum tour and will close by 8.00 am on the following morning with breakfast.
Tickets cost Dhs875 for adults and Dhs650 for kids, on a non-exclusive basis. You can also book exclusive lounges with a minimum capacity of 10 people. The exclusive lounge costs Dhs950 per adult and Dhs650 per child.
