October 8, 2022 is a public holiday in the UAE

Saturday, October 8, 200 will be a paid leave for all the people working in the UAE’s private sector, Ministry of Husman Resources and Emiratization has announced.

The holiday has been announced to mark the occasion of Holy Prophet Muhammed (PBUH) birthday.

The Prophet’s birthday is observed on the third month of the Islamic calendar on 12 Rabi’ Al Awwal 1444.

The public holiday on October 8, 200 will be followed by two more, which will round off the list of official breaks for the year 2022.
