Oman Tourist Destinations

Apart from providing visa-free entry and visa-on-arrival facilities, Oman is also actively enhancing its infrastructure and creating new tourism destinations, including luxury resorts, museums, and historical sites.

Oman’s endeavors in the tourism sector have been acknowledged by multiple international organizations, which have designated Oman as one of the leading tourist destinations in the Middle East and North Africa region.

According to a representative from the ROP, visitors from 103 countries can now extend their visa-free stay in Oman beyond the initial 14 days, subject to payment of an extension fee.

Once the designated period has elapsed, travellers from these countries are required to submit an online application for an e-visa, which costs OMR20 and grants a 30-day stay in Oman.

In addition, these visitors may also apply for a one-year multi-entry visa, provided that their stay in Oman during each visit does not exceed one month and they fulfill certain conditions.
