Ministry of Interior has announced that fans and organisers outside Qatar, with a Hayya Card can enter the country until January 24, 2024.
“The Ministry of Interior announces the validity extension of the Hayya Card for fans and organizers. The cardholders will be allowed to enter the State of Qatar starting today until 24 January 2024 as per the specified conditions,” it said.

However, visitors to Qatar must fulfill specific requirements, including proof of hotel reservation or approved accommodation with family or friends through the Hayya Portal, a passport valid for at least three months upon arrival, valid health insurance for the duration of their stay, and a return ticket.

Hayya cardholders visiting Qatar during a designated time will have access to the “Hayya with Me” feature, enabling them to invite three family members or friends. They will also receive a multiple-entry permit and can use the e-Gate system for entry and exit without incurring fees.
These conditions apply to holders of all Hayya Card types used during the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022.
