GMG’s Everyday Goods – Retail division’s popular supermarket brands Géant and aswaaq, has announced a series of initiatives aimed at making this Ramadan a memorable and affordable one for the community. With a focus on affordability and customer-centricity, GMG said it is dedicated to providing value-driven shopping experiences across all its stores.

In the spirit of Ramadan, Géant and aswaaq are offering incredible discounts with their Ramadan Mega Deals, featuring up to 50% off on a wide range of products throughout the month. To enhance the affordability of shopping baskets for families, over 2,000 food items will have their prices locked for the entire month, ensuring that customers can enjoy consistent and affordable pricing during this important time.

During the holy month, GMG has partnered with Emirates Red Crescent to contribute to the well-being of the community by providing Iftar and Suhoor meals, as well as toys for children. Additionally, Iftar boxes are available for purchase in-store, with options for both vegetarians and non-vegetarians, priced at Dhs10.95 and Dhs12.95 respectively. Bulk orders for these boxes can be placed across all Géant and aswaaq stores, further extending the reach of this charitable initiative.

Marc Laurent, President, Retail – Everyday Goods at GMG, said, “Ramadan is a time of reflection, connection, and celebration. At Géant, we’re embracing this special season with a ‘Ramadan of firsts,’ showcasing our evolution to provide a complete shopping experience that caters to all your needs. Our commitment to affordability, quality, and variety ensures that you can fully embrace the spirit of Ramadan without compromise. We’re excited to be a part of your journey and to offer a shopping experience that truly reflects the essence of this blessed month.”

In a deliberate attempt to enhance affordability and add a distinctive touch to Ramadan, Géant Hypermarket Sahara Centre and select aswaaq outlets will offer a series of Fresh Festivals throughout the month. These festivals, such as the Lebanese Festival, Citrus Festival, Proudly UAE, and Berries Festival, highlight the diverse flavours and seasonal produce. Additionally, they offer the “Grill Your Own Fish” service for a personalised culinary experience.

Understanding the importance of convenience during Ramadan, GMG offers free home delivery in select stores and across online shopping aggregators such as Instashop, Talabat, Nownow, and El Grocer. Customers can also shop for Ramadan Gift Cards at Géant, both in-store and online, making it easier to share the joy of the season with loved ones.

GMG’s Everyday Goods – Retail is committed to serving the community by providing exceptional value, quality, and convenience. Through these initiatives, Géant and aswaaq aim to enhance the Ramadan experience for everyone, fostering a spirit of generosity and togetherness.
