Police in the UAE’s emirate of Ras Al Khaimah has offered special discount packages for those drivers who have accumulated traffic fines for at least two years or more.
Driver who have committed violations are asked to contact Traffic and Licensing Service Centre to avail the discount on fines, said Brig-Gen Ahmed Al Sam Al Naqbi, Director of the Traffic and Patrols Department at the Ras Al Khaimah Police.
The initiative was launched in bid to boost residents’ happiness, safety and quality of life.
