A survey by LinkedIn has revealed the most in-demand jobs in the UAE and Saudi Arabia. According to the professional service firm, individuals working in sales, technology, sustainability and human resources sectors are in high demand in the two Gulf countries.
LinkedIn said that based on its latest data, businesses in the UAE and Saudi Arabia have been hiring back-end developers, sales representatives, environmental managers and human resources operations specialists.
Private companies operating in the UAE have been recruiting new staff to fill sales roles to expand revenue amid global economic uncertainty.
Remote jobs
Professionals looking for flexible work arrangements are also in high demand, with postings for remote jobs growing by 27.7 percent in December compared to November. The increase is the highest among European, Middle Eastern and African (EMEA) markets.
In Saudi Arabia, employers have been looking for human resource (HR) and talent acquisition roles as the kingdom seeks to attract new talent.
Regarding the technology industry, most businesses in the UAE and Saudi Arabia are hiring professionals with advanced IT skills, such as programming languages and cybersecurity.
Based on its latest data, LinkedIn has compiled the fastest-growing jobs and skills required by employers so far this year.
The UAE and Saudi Arabia are the two countries in the Gulf region, which offer ample employment opportunities to all, irrespective of their race and region. The UAE is home to people belonging to more than 200 nationalities.
