In a bid to attract international investors, the UAE digital government has rolled out an initiative offering extended visit visas of up to 120 days.
The move is part of an effort to streamline the application process and encourage entrepreneurs to explore lucrative investment opportunities within the country.
UAE visit visa options and eligibility for investors
Foreign nationals are now eligible to apply for single-entry visit visas, with durations of 60, 90, or 120 days.
Notably, applicants do not require a local sponsor or host in the UAE. To be eligible, applicants must demonstrate financial stability, possess high qualifications, and be professionals in their respective home country’s business sector.

In a related development, the UAE has unified fines for overstaying after visa expiration. Individuals will incur a fine of Dhs50 per day beyond the grace period.
Furthermore, the UAE allows foreign patients to enter for treatment under the sponsorship of a medical establishment, with provisions for extending the entry of patient companions based on certified medical reports.
