Though Pakistan’s star pacer Shaheen Shah Afridi is not fully fit to play in the ground, he has decided to start another innings off the field. The bowling ace has tied the knot with Ashna Afridi, daughter of cricket legend Shahid Afridi, on February 3.
The reception was held for the couple at the DHA Golf and Country Club after their nikkah. The wedding ceremony was attended by a lot of Shaheen’s teammates from Pakistan’s national cricket team.
The nikkah ceremony was held in line with the Afridi tribal tradition. The wedding ceremony was arranged in the mega city of Karachi, where Shahid Afridi lives along with his family.

Shaheen is likely to travel to Lahore to take part in the upcoming edition of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) and will rejoin the Lahore Qalandar squad. PSL is a popular cricket league in Pakistan.
The 22-year-old fast bowler was ruled out of the England series because of his injury. The fast bowler is currently in rehab.
