The Arabian Travel Market (ATM), the premier event for travel and tourism professionals in the Middle East, has unveiled its theme for the 31st edition: “Empowering Innovation: Transforming Travel Through Entrepreneurship.” ATM 2024 is scheduled to take place at the Dubai World Trade Centre (DWTC) from May 6 to May 9, 2024.

Despite contributing over 10 percent to global GDP in 2019, the travel and tourism industry has received only 1 percent of total startup funding in the last 15 years, according to McKinsey. ATM 2024 which will take places from May 6 to May 9, will gather exhibitors from aviation, accommodation, hospitality, technology, and more to explore how innovation and entrepreneurship can attract more funding and enhance the industry’s global economic impact.
The ATM 2024 will bring together policymakers, industry leaders, and travel professionals from across the Middle East and beyond. It will highlight innovations that improve customer experiences, increase efficiency, and contribute to a net-zero future for the travel and tourism sector.

The event will explore how innovation can help achieve the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and create a greener travel and tourism sector.
