OMODA & JAECOO has outlined plans to expand its global footprint after reaching one million cumulative vehicle sales within three years, marking a key milestone for the fast-growing automotive brand.

The announcement was made during the OMODA Global Music Festival in Wuhu, China, held alongside the 2026 Chery International Business Summit. The event brought together more than 4,000 partners and marked the company’s third anniversary.

The company said it is now shifting focus from rapid expansion to sustained growth, with a target of reaching one million vehicle sales annually worldwide.

Growth strategy

As part of its future plans, the brand also held a production milestone event for the OMODA 4, highlighting its upcoming product lineup aimed at younger, technology-focused consumers.

“Reaching one million global users in just three years is not only a milestone of scale, but a testament to the trust and co-creation of young users around the world,” said Shawn Xu, CEO of OMODA & JAECOO Automobile International. “As we move towards our next phase, our focus remains on delivering intelligent, stylish, and user-driven mobility solutions that resonate deeply with the next generation, including fast-growing markets like the UAE.”

The company has expanded its presence to 69 markets with over 1,300 showrooms globally. Monthly sales grew from 10,000 units in early 2023 to more than 60,000 units by March 2026.

In the UK market, the JAECOO 7 ranked among the top-selling vehicles in March, with new energy vehicles accounting for a significant share of total sales.

The event also featured new technologies including a driverless parking system and an AI-powered smart cabin, expected to be introduced in future models.

Company representatives said user feedback continues to play a role in product development, with global customers contributing insights based on real-world usage.

UAE relevance

The brand’s focus on youth culture and technology aligns with demand trends in the UAE, where younger consumers are showing increased interest in connected and energy-efficient vehicles.

OMODA & JAECOO said it plans to continue expanding across the UAE and the wider GCC as part of its next growth phase.
