However, to qualify for this coveted visa, applicants must meet four distinct conditions set forth by the Federal Authority for Identity, Citizenship, Customs, and Port Security (ICP).
UAE Green Visa requirements
According to the latest guidelines, both freelancers/self-employed individuals and skilled employees must adhere to stringent criteria to secure the Green visa.
For freelancers and self-employed individuals, the conditions are as follows:
Firstly, applicants must hold a freelance/self-employment permit issued by the Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation. Additionally, they must furnish proof of academic qualifications, such as a bachelor’s degree or specialized diploma. Furthermore, candidates are required to demonstrate an annual income from self-employment over the past two years, totaling no less than Dhs360,000. Alternatively, individuals may prove financial stability throughout their stay in the UAE to meet this criterion.
Similarly, skilled employees must fulfill the following requirements:
Prospective Green visa holders in this category must possess a valid employment contract and be classified in the first, second, or third occupational level according to the Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation. Furthermore, applicants must hold at least a bachelor’s degree or its equivalent and receive a monthly salary of not less than Dhs15,000.
