Announced on Friday, the partnership aims to implement Salik’s cutting-edge technology at Dubai Mall, transforming the parking management system. The anticipated launch is slated for the third quarter of 2024. The specific charges for Dubai Mall paid parking will be determined once Emaar Malls finalizes the project’s business rules.

The parking experience is set to become hassle-free, utilizing automatic fee collection through ticketless parking and vehicle plate recognition. Users can expect fees to be deducted from their Salik accounts, streamlining the payment process.

Ibrahim Sultan Al Haddad, CEO and board member of Salik Company PJSC, expressed enthusiasm, stating, “Salik is well-positioned to provide a seamless and convenient customer journey, eliminating the need for gates or barriers at Dubai Mall. This move is expected to minimize congestion and enhance traffic flow for customers.”

The innovative system is part of Salik’s broader vision, with plans to expand the offering to additional locations across the city. Established as a public joint stock company in June 2022, Salik currently operates eight toll gates strategically located across Dubai, including key points on Sheikh Zayed Road, the city’s primary arterial highway.
