The Dubai Mall, one of the most popular retail and lifestyle destinations in the world, has announced a change in its name.
The mall, which has been open for over 14 years, will now be known simply as “Dubai Mall,” dropping the word “The” from its title.
Dubai Mall New Name
The Dubai Mall announced its new name on its social media accounts, including TikTok, Instagram and Facebook.
In a video posted on TikTok, the Dubai Mall stated, “New name but still your fave mall.”
The move has generated a mix of reactions, some excited about the change and others indifferent or even sad about it.
However, despite the name change, the mall will continue to offer the same great shopping and dining experiences that it is known for.
1,200 retail outlets
According to its website, Dubai Mall welcomes over 100 million visitors each year and features over 1,200 retail outlets and 200 international dining experiences.
Dubai Mall also includes various entertainment options, such as a 22-screen cinema. The mall also houses several high-end fashion stores and luxury brands.
Dubai Mall is directly linked to the Burj Khalifa, the tallest building in the world. The mall is a popular tourist destination and attracts millions of visitors annually.
