Peugeot has revealed its new Polygon concept car in Dubai, featuring Goodyear’s intelligent tire technology built directly into the vehicle’s cockpit.

The Polygon can switch between three driving modes – Urban, Player and Explorer. For the first time, Goodyear SightLine technology is fully integrated into the car, showing real-time tire and road data on the driver’s display.

SightLine monitors tire wear and can adjust vehicle settings automatically. It also detects aquaplaning risks and helps the car react faster in wet conditions.

Three custom Goodyear tires

Goodyear developed three special tires for the concept:

  • Urban and Player versions use the Eagle F1 tread pattern.
  • The Explorer version carries a Wrangler-style tread for off-road grip.

Sidewalls feature new colours and laser designs.

Ben Glesener, senior technology director, Product Development, Consumer EMEA at Goodyear, said: “SightLine represents more than technology—it’s a vision for connected mobility. By partnering with Peugeot, we are envisioning an ecosystem where tires become active contributors to vehicle intelligence, shaping a smarter future.”

Goodyear SightLine is already in use on roads in several countries.
