Global Village has announced the return of The Wonderers’ Kids Fest, a seasonal event aimed at children and families visiting the destination during the winter months.
The festival will run for 45 days from January 9 to February 15, 2026, with daily activities scheduled between 4pm and 10pm.
Event dates
The Wonderers’ Kids Fest will be held next to the Kids’ Theatre at Global Village. The activities are included in the price of a Global Village entry ticket and are open to children aged between three and 12, with no additional charges.
The outdoor schedule is timed to coincide with cooler evening weather, allowing families to spend extended time at the venue.
The festival will open with a drone show at 7.20pm on Friday, January 9. Organisers said the display will mark the official start of the children’s programme for the season.
Games and activities
The event will feature a range of large-scale games designed to encourage teamwork and interactive play. These include the giant Snakes and Ladders board game, previously recognised by Guinness World Records, as well as Giant Battleship and a life-sized 4 in a Row game.
Two versions of Giant Stack’Em will also be available, catering to both younger and older children.
Additional attractions include free face painting, balloon modelling, inflatable clown parades and bubble-themed activities across the area. Children can also take part in meet-and-greet sessions with The Wonderers mascots and receive small giveaways for participating in games.
Global Village said the Kids Fest remains part of its wider family-focused programming during the winter season.
