Dubai also ranked number two globally for popularity in 2022, beating French capital Paris and the US bustling city New York. British capital London remains on the top spot of most popular destinations.
Google’s ranking is based on the number of searches for flights and accommodations for each destination.

Data recently released by the Department of Economy and Tourism Dubai showed that 1.24 million Indian tourists visited the emirate in first nine months of 2022. The number is highest among all foreign nationalities.
If you are planning to visit Dubai in the coming year, it is advised to book your flights and accommodations in advance, as the city can be quite busy with tourists. Though it is not necessary and hotels can be booked after arriving in the city as well. It is also a good idea to familiarize yourself with the local laws and customs of the UAE, as they can be quite different from those in other countries.

Dubai is known for its luxury hotels, modern architecture, and varied entertainment options. Some famous tourist places in Dubai include the world’s tallest building Burj Khalifa, the Dubai Mall, which is one of the largest shopping centers in the world, and Palm Jumeirah, an artificial island with luxury homes and hotels. The city of gold is also home to many theme parks, including Motiongate Dubai, Bollywood Parks Dubai, and Legoland Dubai. Dubai Miracle Garden is also famous among the visitors.
Dubai is also home to several sandy beaches and water sports and there are many opportunities for swimming, snorkeling and diving as well. Desert Safari is a most popular entertainment among the tourists and residents alike.
When to visit Dubai?
Though Dubai is open to welcome the tourists around the year, the best time to visit Dubai is during the cooler months, from November to March, when temperatures are more moderate.
