Ajman Bank has appointed Tahir Turksoy as Head of Fintech & AI within its Consumer Banking Division, effective April 7, 2025.
In this role, Turksoy will report to Faizal Kundil, Head of Consumer Banking, and lead the bank’s digital transformation efforts.
Digital transformation leadership
Turksoy brings over 20 years of experience in merging business goals with advanced technology. His expertise includes developing digital strategies, building online and mobile banking platforms, digitizing branch operations, and implementing customer-focused solutions.
He has a strong record of driving innovation and improving digital customer experiences.

Previous roles and experience
Before joining Ajman Bank, Turksoy was Head of Digital at National Bonds Corporation, where he improved digital distribution, streamlined customer onboarding, and boosted growth through digital-first products. His leadership helped increase customer acquisition and fund mobilisation using technology.
He has also held senior positions at Mashreq Bank, First Gulf Bank, and DenizBank, overseeing projects like branch digitisation, mobile banking development, open finance integration, and self-service banking improvements.
