Dubai-based sourcing and supply chain company SUMEA has opened SUMEAWORLD, a nearly 12,000-square-metre trade hub in DP World’s Jebel Ali Free Zone (Jafza), bringing its sourcing, procurement, warehousing and global distribution operations under one roof.
The new facility will serve as the company’s regional headquarters and central logistics platform. Backed by a 20-year commitment, it will support the sourcing, consolidation and re-export of products to more than 75 countries from Dubai.
Regional operations
SUMEA was founded in the Republic of the Congo as a consumer goods business and has since expanded into an international sourcing and supply chain group. The company works with more than 300 suppliers, including global brands and original equipment manufacturers (OEMs).
The new hub combines consumer electronics, building materials, retail products, industrial equipment and other categories, supporting customers across Africa, the Middle East and Asia.

Global network
SUMEA’s headquarters in Dubai works alongside its offices in Singapore and China, helping the company stay close to manufacturing centres while serving different international markets.
The company also manages procurement and supply for the wider group’s operations in the Republic of the Congo, Gabon and the Democratic Republic of the Congo, supporting businesses in travel services, IT, retail, construction and project supplies. SUMEA said the new facility has been developed to meet growing demand and support future expansion across Africa and other international markets.
