MOC27, the Motor, Outdoor & Camping Festival, is set to take place at The Sevens Stadium Grounds from 14 to 17 January 2027, bringing together motoring, camping, outdoor recreation and family entertainment.

The festival will cover more than 350,000 square metres and feature more than 200 brands, 50 clubs and communities, and over 50 activities.

The event is backed by the Dubai Department of Economy & Tourism and presented by DSF Auto Season.

MOC27 combines motoring and outdoor activities

Rather than focusing only on vehicles or exhibitions, MOC27 is designed around activities for families and outdoor enthusiasts.

Its Expo will be divided into five areas: Motors, Outdoor, Camping, the Community Village and the Festival.

The Motors section will feature 4x4s, motorcycles, parts and equipment, while Outdoor will cover activities including hiking, adventure sports, cycling and pets. Camping will focus on outdoor living, cooking and travel.

The Community Village will bring together local outdoor clubs and associations.

Visitors will also be able to take part in practical activities. These include supervised 4×4 test drives on sand, dirt-bike rides on a test track and rooftop-tent demonstrations.

Clubs and communities at the centre

The festival will give UAE outdoor clubs and communities a dedicated meeting point through its CAC Village, covering clubs, associations and communities.

Groups representing 4×4, overlanding, motorcycles, hiking, cycling and marine activities are expected to participate.

Non-profit clubs will receive free stand space, while their members can access discounts of up to 30%, according to the organisers.

“MOC was never meant to be another car show or another desert party. It’s a festival for dad, mum, son and daughter, built around the clubs and communities who live the outdoors every day. If visitors just watch and walk, we haven’t done our job” said Justyn Cánovas, CEO & Senior Partner of MOC27 and JBCM Event Architects.

Family entertainment and evening events

Beyond the exhibition areas, MOC27 will feature a Main Arena with vehicle launches, demonstrations and professional and family competitions.

The Overland & Test Ride Zone will include an articulation course, recovery training and an Overland Build-Off.

Other attractions listed by organisers include a kids’ zone, wildlife and nature area, wellness and women’s space, Emirati majlis, talks and a hot-air balloon.

Seven food zones will offer BBQ and street food. After sunset, the programme will continue with live music, DJ sets and an open-air cinema.

New UAE outdoor lifestyle platform

The event is being marketed and produced through a long-term partnership between Oryx Signature and JBCM Event Architects.

Organisers say MOC27 is intended to become the first part of a wider outdoor lifestyle platform, with two further properties, MOCRV and MOCMarine, planned for the future.

“More families than ever are exploring the UAE beyond its cities, and MOC27 gives that community a home. Together with JBCM, we’re building a festival that puts the UAE on the global map for family outdoor living, and one that will return every season,” added John Andrew Camillo, Founder & CEO, Oryx Signature.
