The highly anticipated finale of City Walk Unplugged Season 2 is just around the corner, with the stage set for a face-off among the top five finalists.
After a spirited competition that attracted talented bands from more than 30 universities nationwide, all eyes will be on bands from Manipal Academy of Higher Education, Westford University College, Middlesex University, Heriot Watt University and University of Wollongong Dubai as they compete for supremacy on November 25 starting at 6:00 pm.
The finalists are ready to infuse the grand finale with a spectrum of styles and distinctive sounds as Rewind from Manipal Academy of Higher Education, SANTA from Westford University College, Neon City Lights from Heriot Watt University, and Mezlomania from the University of Wollongong Dubai go head-to-head. Each of the bands will bring their own distinctive musical journey, promising to captivate the crowd with a diverse range of sonic experiences.
Issam Al Najjar show at City Walk
Headlining the electrifying grand finale is the renowned singer and songwriter and TikTok sensation, Issam Al Najjar. Represented by Universal Arabic Music, Al Najjar has garnered over 1.5 billion streams worldwide. The artist, known for his recent debut album, “BAREE,” featuring 14 mesmerizing tracks, will treat the audience to a musical journey from 9:00 pm to 10:00 pm at the fountain Area in City Walk on Saturday, November 25.
The stakes are high for the finalists, with the victor not only securing the prestigious title but also claiming a grand prize package, including Dhs20,000, a professionally produced music video, and an exclusive radio interview.
