Dubai Airports has received two awards at the Ideas Arabia International Award organised by the Dubai Quality Group, recognising its work in health and safety digitisation and accessible travel services for People of Determination.
The awards were presented under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, President of Dubai Civil Aviation Authority, Chairman of Dubai Airports, and Chairman and Chief Executive of Emirates Airline and Group.
AI in safety
Dubai Airports was recognised in the category of Digitisation and AI Integration in Health & Safety for its efforts to modernise risk management through a fully digital system.
The initiative includes AI-supported refresher training and virtual reality learning programmes aimed at improving workplace safety and operational efficiency for employees and passengers.
Inclusive travel
The organisation also received an award for Accessible & Inclusive Travel for People of Determination Guests.
The recognition highlights progress under the DXB for All pledge, which aims to make Dubai International Airport one of the world’s most accessible airports by 2035.
According to Dubai Airports, the programme was developed in partnership with members of the People of Determination community to improve accessibility and enhance the travel experience.
Dubai Airports said the achievements were driven by collaboration across the oneDXB community and reflect ongoing efforts to advance innovation, accessibility and operational performance across airport operations.
