Following the US suspension of Harvard University’s ability to enroll international students under the Student and Exchange Visitor Program (SEVP), Tetr College of Business, with strong presence in Dubai, has announced a fast-track admission initiative for impacted students, along with full scholarships worth up to Dhs 735,000 (USD 200,000).
The move aims to provide an alternative academic path for students facing uncertainty due to the change in Harvard’s SEVP certification status by the US Department of Homeland Security.
Support for F-1 visa students
Tetr will offer affected F-1 visa students guaranteed admission into its 2025 undergraduate cohort, starting in August. The scholarships cover full tuition for either of Tetr’s two programs: Management and Technology, or Science and Artificial Intelligence.
Pratham Mittal, founder of Tetr College of Business, said: “The thought of any bright, enterprising student having their academic trajectory abruptly halted due to circumstances beyond their control is simply unacceptable. For these exceptional minds at Harvard, we are not just offering free education but providing an impactful launchpad to global entrepreneurship and leadership for the betterment of the world.”
Global learning model
Tetr’s four-year undergraduate program takes students across seven countries including the UAE, US, India, Singapore, Italy, Ghana, and Brazil. Students gain hands-on business experience in each location, supported by faculty from institutions such as Harvard, MIT, INSEAD, and Cornell.
The college reports strong outcomes from its inaugural cohort. Students generated Dhs 506,000 in revenue from dropshipping ventures in Dubai and Dhs 673,000 from direct-to-consumer startups in India, with average profit margins of over 30%.
High demand for 2025 intake
Tetr has received over 150,000 applications for approximately 100 seats in its 2025 intake, with a reported average SAT score of 1475. Many students in the current class turned down offers from top institutions including Dartmouth, NYU Stern, UC Berkeley, and King’s College London.
