Shaza Hotels has announced its official entry into Bahrain through a management agreement with Nuzul Masaken Real Estate Development Co. for the upcoming Mysk Al Fateh Bahrain, set to open on May 1, 2025.
The signing ceremony took place during Arabian Travel Market being held at World Trade Centre in Dubai, led by Simon Coombs, President & CEO of Shaza Hotels, and Ghazi Abdulla Nass, Chairman of Nuzul Masaken Real Estate. Senior representatives from both organisations attended the event.
The move marks a key milestone for Shaza Hotels as it expands its Mysk brand across the GCC.
Simon Coombs stated:
“We are delighted to mark our entry into the Kingdom of Bahrain with such a special property. Mysk Al Fateh Bahrain is a perfect fit for our growing Mysk portfolio – combining contemporary luxury with a sense of place and purpose. Our partnership with Nuzul Holdings reflects a shared vision to bring meaningful hospitality experiences to the region.”
Tailored for modern travellers
Located in the heart of Juffair, Manama, Mysk Al Fateh Bahrain is a twin-tower, 15-storey development offering 118 serviced suites, including one to three-bedroom units and four luxury penthouses. The property features indoor and outdoor pools, fitness centres, meeting spaces, and family-friendly amenities.
Ghazi Abdulla Nass commented:
“This partnership with Shaza Hotels – a brand known for its cultural depth and operational excellence – reflects our long-term commitment to developing high-quality hospitality assets that meet Bahrain’s evolving tourism demand.”
Opening amid tourism growth
The launch comes as Bahrain’s tourism sector experiences strong momentum, with a nearly 20% increase in visitor arrivals in 2024.
The government aims to reach 14 million annual visitors by 2026 and increase tourism’s GDP contribution to over 11%. Infrastructure projects such as the Bahrain International Airport expansion and Exhibition World Bahrain continue to support this growth.
