Sharjah Municipality has introduced a new kind of public parking permit, allowing people to get a monthly subscription for two chosen zones. This subscription, priced at Dhs166, can be renewed monthly.

Hamed Al Qaidi, director of Public Parking Management, emphasized that this initiative aims to make municipal services more accessible. It’s a response to the demand from users who want a monthly subscription for two specific areas.

These monthly subscriptions are part of various payment options for parking in Sharjah City. They cover specific zones or the entire city, with options for 10, 20, or 30 days, as well as three, six, or 12-month subscriptions, granting access to 70,000 parking spaces citywide.

Additionally, the municipality provides special subscriptions, offering a 20% discount for specific groups such as retired citizens, seniors, residents in fee-based areas, university students, government employees, and holders of certain cards like “Homat Al Watan” and “Waffer.”

Applications for these discounted subscriptions are accepted only at customer service centers.
