Dubai’s tenants can now pay their rent through direct debit, according to a circular from the Dubai Land Department (DLD).
The latest update to Ejari includes the Noqodi Ejari Direct Debit Service (DDS), offering tenants the convenience of automatic rental payments through direct debit.
According to the Dubai Land Department (DLD), the Direct Debit System (UAEDDS) from the Central Bank of the UAE (CBUAE) will provide Dubai residents with a convenient and automated way to make recurring payments from their bank accounts.

Additionally, Ejari has fully integrated with the Noqodi Direct Debit System (UAEDDS).
The system allows tenants to manage their rental payment schedule during contract creation or renewal, making it easier to make recurring payments directly from their bank accounts.
“This document is a manual to define the steps that are needed to be followed to set up a DDS in Ejari and Noqodi,” the DLD said.
The move is part of Dubai’s initiative to digitise and automate rental payments.
