Dubai’s retail market continues to grow with the opening of new stores catering to the city’s diverse and expanding population. To meet this demand, Lulu Group has opened its latest hypermarket in Al Satwa, a vibrant area known for its mix of cultures.

The launch is a continuation of the company’s growth strategy, following the momentum of its highly successful IPO and signals a promising future for the retail giant.

The inauguration of Lulu hypermarket in Al Satwa was officiated by Majid Saqer Almarri, CEO of Dubai Land Department, in the presence of Yusuff Ali M.A., Chairman of Lulu Group, along with other distinguished dignitaries.

The new hypermarket is a testament to Lulu’s commitment to expanding its footprint across the UAE and the wider Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) region.

“We are delighted to launch our latest hypermarket in Al Satwa, which will provide a world-class shopping experience to the local community and surrounding areas. The opening of this hypermarket marks our 23rd store since our IPO declaration,” said Yusuff Ali M.A. during the ceremony.

“We aim to open 100 stores in the next three to five years, and this new development shows we are firmly on track to achieve our targets for 2025 and beyond,” he added, underlining the company’s ambitious expansion plans.

Lulu Group’s expansion is not just about growth in numbers but also about providing unparalleled shopping experiences. The Al Satwa hypermarket spans an impressive 60,000 square feet and is the 252nd store in Lulu’s GCC network.

Located in the bustling, vibrant neighborhood of Al Satwa, the new hypermarket promises to offer a global shopping experience, featuring a vast selection of locally sourced and international products. Lulu’s expansion plans

The opening of the Al Satwa hypermarket is part of Lulu’s broader expansion strategy in Dubai. Following this launch, Lulu has plans for several more stores across key locations such as Al Jaddaf, Jumeirah Lakes Towers (JLT), Nad Al Hammar, Dubai Expo City, Khorfakhan, and Oud Al Mutina. These new additions will further bolster Lulu’s footprint and customer reach, contributing to the growing demand for modern retail experiences in the UAE.
