Dubai is set to host the fourth season of the prestigious Indian Women Dubai Awards, presented by the dynamic community platform, Indian Women in Dubai (IWD).

This distinguished event is scheduled to take place on September 14, 2024, promising an evening of celebration, empowerment, and recognition of Indian women who have made significant contributions to the fabric of Dubai’s society.

This year’s gala will be elevated by the presence of Bollywood icon Sameera Reddy, known for her impactful roles and empowering stance in the entertainment industry.

Reddy’s participation in critically acclaimed films and her advocacy for body positivity and mental health resonate with the ethos of our event. Her journey mirrors the aspirations and dreams of many women, making her a fitting guest of honor at an event that shines a light on female achievement and perseverance.

The keynote speaker at the event is Mrs Vandana Sudhir, Wife of the Ambassador Sunjay Sudhir, an educator and a respected artist in the region.

Under the leadership of Reema Mahajan, IWD has grown into a powerhouse community with over 150,000 members, fostering an environment where women can thrive, network, and support each other.

“Each year, the Indian Women Dubai Awards have set a new benchmark for celebrating the extraordinary achievements of Indian women in the UAE,” said Reema Mahajan.

Over 30 categories

The awards will feature over 30 categories, including new recognitions for achievements in technology and innovation, alongside traditional categories celebrating artists, entrepreneurs, influencers, and healthcare professionals.

The ceremony is expected to draw attention from various sectors, highlighting the diverse talents and capabilities of women from the Indian community in Dubai. The event also aims to raise awareness about children of determination and women cancer warriors as they will perform at the event too.
