Two renowned dining destinations, Jehangirs and Zordaar restaurant, have unveiled their exclusive Navratri Thalis, designed to delight and nourish the community throughout this auspicious period.

As the festive season begins, Jehangirs, a leading Mughlai restaurant is thrilled to announce the launch of its exclusive Navratri Thali, carefully curated to bring the flavours of India’s vibrant festivals to your table.

Designed with attention to tradition and taste, this special menu will be served all nine days of Navratri from October 3 to 11 to ensure a delightful culinary experience for its visitors.

Residents can join Jehangirs in celebrating this auspicious occasion with a blend of authentic and innovative dishes, all prepared using ingredients that honour the fasting traditions of Navratri.

The Navratri Thali is available for Dhs 55 and includes a rich variety of flavourful dishes.

Highlights of the Navratri Thali:

  • Kulaar Ki Chaat: A refreshing fruit chaat seasoned with anardana, lemon, and sendha namak, inspired by the streets of Old Delhi.
  • Faldhari Tikki: Crispy patties made from green bananas, paired with a flavorful walnut chutney.
  • Varat Waaley Aloo: A light and aromatic potato curry seasoned with cumin, ginger, and coriander.
  • Khatta Kaddu: A tangy mashed pumpkin dish with tamarind, ginger, and coriander for a classic touch.
  • Navratan Korma: A rich, cashew-based curry with a medley of seasonal vegetables.
  • Kuttu Aata Ki Puri: Deep-fried flatbreads made with buckwheat flour, a must-have during Navratri fasting.
  • Sabudana Khichadi: A light and satisfying dish made from tapioca pearls, peanuts, cumin, and lemon.
  • Makhana Kheer: A traditional Indian dessert made from foxnuts, flavored with cardamom and almonds.
  • Pineapple Halwa: A warm, sweet pineapple pudding inspired by the classic Indian halwa.

Zordaar Restaurant

Zordaar, the latest culinary sensation by the Chandramari Group, has also announced the introduction of the Biggest Navratri Thali, measuring 3 Kg, serving 28 number of dishes.

The Thali is good for four people and is available at a price of Dhs 249.

In celebration of the upcoming Karwa Chauth, Zordaar will also offer complimentary Mehendi services to all women diners, adding a special touch to the festivities.

Known for its diverse range of Indian dishes, Zordaar restaurant is offering a delightful Navratri menu from October 3 to 11. This special menu features a curated selection of authentic vegetarian dishes.

The festive menu captures the essence of Navratri, making it a must-visit dining destination for those looking to celebrate with family and friends. The Thali features an array of flavorful starters like Kulaar Ki Chaat, Faldhari Tikki, and Dahi Kabab, followed by a rich main course including Varat Waaley Aloo, Khatta Kaddu, and Zafrani Paneer. Accompaniments such as Chironji Ka Dal and Papaya Chutney add extra zest, while desserts like Makhana Kheer and Pineapple Halwa offer a sweet conclusion.

Additionally, a sizzling tandoor delight, Tawe Wala Paneer Mutter Ka Tikka, rounds out this elaborate and vrat-friendly meal. In addition to the Navratri offerings, Zordaar is also celebrating Karwa Chauth by offering free Mehendi for all women diners on Oct 20, 2024.
