A new survey by Middle East’s leading job site Bayt.com has revealed that how professionals find new jobs in the UAE and MENA region.
The 2023 New Year’s Resolutions Poll stated that professionals use online job websites, sites of companies, social media and virtual job fairs to look for new employment opportunities in the UAE as well as in the MENA region.
The UAE is a magnet for foreign talent, where expats belonging to more than 200 nationalities live and work here without any kind of discrimination.
Companies operating in Dubai and other emirates of the UAE offer competitive salaries and incentives based on professionals’ job roles and talent.
According to the survey, 56 percent professionals in the UAE and MENA region also want to change their jobs in 2023.
Interestingly, a whopping 74 percent are planning to make a complete change in the sectors they are currently working in.
As the professionals, majority of them belong to expatriate community, look for new jobs in 2023, they focus to find the jobs where they can get a competitive salary, work-life balance and flexible work arrangements.
Bayt.com poll stated that 91 percent professionals feel positive about 2023. Most of them are focused on improving quality of their lives through jobs of their choice.
Ola Haddad, Director of Human Resources at Bayt.com, said that if companies want to retain and attract the talented individuals they must provide incentives to employees they demand.
Data for the New Year’s Resolutions Poll 2023 was collected online from Nov.2 to Dec. 4, 2022.
Around 3,000 individuals were interviewed from the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Oman, Kuwait, Bahrain, Qatar, Lebanon, Jordan, Palestine, Iraq, Syria, Yemen, Egypt, Morocco, Tunisia, Algeria, Libya Tunisia and Sudan among others.
Bayt.com is used by more than 40,000 global employers and has a database of over 44,000,000 professionals.
