HONOR has unveiled its new 400 Series smartphones in the Middle East and Africa at a launch event in Dubai, introducing enhanced artificial intelligence (AI) features and upgraded hardware.
Event highlights innovation
Held under the theme “HONOR AI Wonderverse,” the event showcased the brand’s focus on combining cultural aesthetics with advanced technology. Attendees experienced interactive zones featuring the devices’ new AI Creative Editor.
AI camera and editing tools
The HONOR 400 Series introduces a 200MP Ultra-Clear AI Camera System, with the HONOR 400 Pro offering up to 50x AI Super Zoom. The series also includes AI Portrait Snap for motion-focused portraits with background blur.
The AI Creative Editor provides features such as AI Image to Video, which transforms photos into 5-second videos, and AI Erase Passers-by, which removes background people with one click. Other tools include AI Upscale, AI Eyes Open, AI Remove Reflection, and Moving Photo Collage.
MagicOS 9.0 and Android updates
Running on the new MagicOS 9.0, based on Android 15, the devices offer real-time features like AI Subtitles and AI Translation. MagicOS also includes AI Magic Portal 2.0 and AI Deepfake Detection.
HONOR confirmed a long-term partnership with Google, ensuring quick access to Android updates. The 400 Series will receive six years of Android upgrades and extended security support through 2030.
Performance and availability
Powered by a 6000mAh battery, the HONOR 400 Pro supports 100W SuperCharge and comes with IP68 and IP69 dust and water resistance.
The HONOR 400 is available for pre-order in Midnight Black, Meteor Silver, and Desert Gold starting from Dhs 1,399. The Pro model is priced from Dhs 2,499 and comes in Midnight Black, Lunar Grey, and Tidal Blue.
Pre-order buyers receive bundled gifts, including earbuds, custom cases, wearables, and accidental damage protection.
Devices are available through the HONOR Online Store, HONOR Experience Store, and major UAE retailers including Sharaf DG, Emax, Jumbo, and Carrefour.
