Global Village opens its 30th season today, welcoming visitors with a wide range of new experiences, international shows, and family-friendly attractions. The cultural and entertainment destination will run until May 10, 2026.

Expanded global offerings

Season 30 features 30 pavilions representing over 90 cultures and more than 3,500 retail outlets. Guests can also explore 250 dining options and enjoy over 200 rides, games and attractions across the venue.

Fernando Eiroa, Chief Executive Officer at Dubai Holding Entertainment, said: “Global Village has evolved from a local concept into a true international phenomenon, cementing its place as the UAE’s most successful homegrown entertainment destination. Last season alone, we welcomed more than 10.5 million guests, reinforcing Dubai’s position as a global hub for entertainment and tourism.”

New themed areas

Several popular zones return this season with upgraded features. Fiesta Street is back with more space and kiosks. The Railway Market has been rebranded as Dessert District, offering new dining options. Asia Boulevard, formerly Road of Asia, brings a refreshed experience to food and shopping, while Happiness Street now features a new canopy structure.

The area between the Egypt and Iran pavilions has been transformed into Gardens of the World, a floral display with global landmarks. A large cake-shaped monument at Arabian Square marks the 30th anniversary and serves as a central photo spot.

Family attractions and rides

This season introduces new rides at Carnaval, including York Bikes, Toronto Tornado, Cape Glider and Rio Rocket. A major highlight is The Dragon Kingdom, a walk-through attraction with 11 immersive themed rooms. The haunted house attraction returns under a new name, The Horror Hotel, with an upgraded experience.

Live shows and entertainment

More than 40,500 shows are scheduled this season, featuring 450 performers from over 30 nationalities. The new stunt show, Fast Live Spectacular, will include drifting, fire effects, and motorbike stunts. The Main Stage lineup includes Red Hot Chili Pipers, Swan Lake, Mayumana, Burn the Floor and Dhol Foundation, along with Global Village’s original stage productions.

Younger audiences can enjoy live performances by Care Bears and PJ Masks at the Kids Theatre. Evening fire and light shows will take place near Dragon Lake and the Main Stage, with fireworks every Friday and Saturday at 9pm.

Global Village has improved signage and navigation throughout the venue, with upgraded services in all parking zones and new wayfinding screens. Entry tickets are available on the Global Village app, website, or at the gate. Weekday tickets are valid Sunday to Wednesday (excluding public holidays), while Any Day tickets can be used any time.
