Fujairah gets new du contact centre run by Emirati team

du has opened a dedicated Fujairah Contact Center staffed entirely by Emirati women, expanding its customer support network and adding a new focus on services designed for Emirati customers.

The centre was officially inaugurated in Fujairah in the presence of Fahad Al Hassawi, CEO of du, senior company executives and government representatives. Among the attending officials were Mohammed bin Saqr Al Nuaimi, Assistant Undersecretary for Support Services at the Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation, and Dr. Ahmad Hasan Al Murshidi, Director General of the Fujairah Geographical Information Systems Centre.

CEO remarks

Fahad Al Hassawi said the centre highlights the company’s focus on supporting national talent. He said: “We are proud to unveil our new Fujairah Contact Center as an exclusively Emirati-operated facility reflects our unwavering belief in the power and potential of Emirati talent. This center embodies our commitment to creating meaningful opportunities for UAE Nationals while delivering culturally attuned, high-quality service to our customers. Focus on national talent

The Fujairah Contact Center has been redesigned to support du’s approach to customer service, with an emphasis on accessibility and cultural familiarity for Emirati callers. According to the company, the site will operate as a model for customer engagement that reflects local needs while creating more career opportunities for Emirati women.

The opening forms part of du’s wider strategy to develop national talent and contribute to the UAE’s human capital goals. The company described the centre as an important step in its Emiratisation progress and in strengthening its long-term presence within local communities.
