Emirates, the leading UAE airline, is lighting up the skies this Diwali season with a special celebration onboard flights to and from India. From November 9 to November 15, passengers will experience the warmth and joy of Diwali, the Hindu Festival of Lights, with an array of delightful treats and entertainment options.
Diwali onboard Emirates flights to and from India
Emirates is known for embracing and celebrating various cultures, and Diwali is no exception. Travellers on Emirates flights to and from major Indian cities, including Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Cochin, Chennai, Delhi, Hyderabad, Thiruvananthapuram, Kolkata, and Mumbai, are in for a special treat.
Passengers in Premium Economy and Economy Class will be served the beloved Indian sweet, “motichoor laddu,” alongside their hot meals. These plump, golden sweet balls are deep-fried to perfection and drenched in a flavourful blend of cardamom and saffron, making them a favorite across India.
First and Business Class passengers can indulge in a “Pista roll,” a delectable fudge made from ground cashew nuts, spices, pistachios, and edible silver leaf.

In addition to the culinary delights, Emirates provides a vibrant entertainment experience for Diwali travellers.
