Dubai South’s new tower sells out in just three hours

Dubai South Properties has launched South Square, a new residential community located along Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed Road, near the upcoming terminal of Al Maktoum International Airport.

The project’s first release, S4 Tower, sold out in just three hours, reflecting strong demand in the area.

Community-focused design and prices

South Square will offer over 550 apartments, including one-, two-, and three-bedroom units. The development is designed with a focus on wellbeing, featuring landscaped spaces, walking trails, water features, a yoga deck, and multi-age fitness zones.

Prices for units start at Dhs 1.1 million, with completion scheduled for Q4 2028.

The project also includes retail outlets, dining areas, and co-working spaces, promoting a lifestyle that blends urban living with access to nature and community-driven spaces.

“In the past few years, we have witnessed a sharp increase in demand for residential options in Dubai South, driven by its strategic location, modern infrastructure, and exceptional connectivity to the rest of the city,” said Nabil Al Kindi, CEO of Dubai South Properties.

“South Square is our response to this momentum—offering spacious homes, wellness-focused amenities, and in proximity to Al Maktoum International Airport and key roads.”

Growing residential demand

Dubai South has emerged as a preferred choice for investors and end-users, with residential sales surpassing Dhs 19 billion in 2024. The area is now home to over 30,000 residents and continues to develop new amenities to support its growing population.

The community includes public parks, sports courts, retail stores, a 50,000 sq ft hypermarket, mosque, petrol station, and public bus routes linking to the Expo Metro station. Last year, GEMS Founders School opened its Dubai South campus, further supporting families in the area.

Strategic location advantage

Located near one of Dubai’s key infrastructure projects—the new Al Maktoum International Airport terminal—South Square is expected to attract residents looking for convenience, accessibility, and future growth potential.
