Dubai announces bus, tram and metro timings during Eid holidays

Dubai metro

Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has announced the business hours of all its services during the holiday of Eid Al Adha 1445H/ 2024, which extends from 9 to 12 Dhu Al Hijja 1445H (Saturday 15 June to Tuesday 18 June 2024).

RTA service facilities include Customer Happiness Centres, Paid Parking Zones, Public Buses, Dubai Metro and Tram, Marine Transport means, and Service Provider Centres (Vehicle Testing).

Dubai Metro timings during Eid holidays

The Red and Green Dubai Metro lines will operate as follows: 14 and 15 June from 5:00 am – 1:00 am the next day, Sunday 16 June from 8:00 am – 1:00 am the next day, and Monday to Friday 17-21 June from 5:00 am – 1:00 am the next day.

Dubai Tram

Dubai Tram will operate from Monday to Saturday from 6:00 am – 1:00 am (next day). And on Sunday from 9:00 am – 1:00 am

Dubai Bus

To know the changes in bus timetables during the Eid Al Adha holiday, please download the S’hail app from Google Play, App Store or App Gallery.

Bus Route E100 from Al Ghubaiba Bus Station will not operate from 14 to 18 June 2024. Riders are to please use Bus Route E101 from Ibn Battuta Bus Station to Abu Dhabi during this period. Bus Route E102 from Al Jafiliya Bus Station will not operate from 14 to 18 June 2024. Passengers are requested to use the same Route from Ibn Battuta Bus Station to Mussafah Community during this period.

Water Taxi

The Water Taxi starts from Marina Mall – Blue Waters (BM3) from 4:00 pm – 11:50 pm, subject to availability. From 3:00 pm – 11:00 pm, customers must book in advance. Dubai – Marina (BM1) Marina Mall – Marina Walk 11:30 am – 12:00 am 4:00 pm – 11:30 pm, as a circular line.

Abra

The abra journey will start from Dubai Old Souk – Baniyas (CR3) 10:00 am – 11:55 pm. Al Fahidi – Al Sabkha (CR4) 10:00 am – 12:00 (midnight). Al Fahidi – Old Deira Market (CR5) 10:00am – 11:45pm. Baniyas – Seef (CR6) 10:00am – 11:55pm. Al Seef – Al Fahidi – Old Deira Souk (CR7) 3:10 pm – 11:05 pm.

Dubai Festival City – Dubai Creek Harbour (CR9) 4:00 pm – 11:55 pm. Al Jaddaf – Dubai Festival City (BM2) 08:00 am – 11:50 pm. Excursions from Sheikh Zayed Road Station (TR6) 4:00 pm – 10:15 pm.

Dubai Ferry

Dubai Ferry starts service from Al Ghubaiba – Dubai Water Canal (FR1) at 1:00 pm and 6:00 pm. Dubai Water Canal – Al Ghubaiba (FR1) 2:25 pm and 7:25 pm, Dubai Water Canal – Bluewaters (FR2) 1: 50pm and 6:50 pm, Bluewaters – Marina Mall (FR2) 2:55 pm and 7:55 pm, Marina Mall – Bluewaters (FR2) 1:00 pm and 6:00 pm, Bluewaters – Dubai Water Canal (FR2) 1:20 pm and 6:20 pm.

Excursions

Excursions start from Marina Mall (FR4) at 11:30 am and 4:30 pm Al Ghubaiba – Aquarium (Sharjah) (FR5) at 3:00 pm, 5:00 pm, 8:00 pm and 10:00 pm. Aquarium (Sharjah) – Al Ghubaiba (FR5) 2:00 pm, 4:00 pm, 6:00 pm and 9:00 pm.

Free parking during Eid holidays

All public parking will be free of charge except for multi-storey parking terminals from Saturday 9 Dhu Al Hijja (15 June 2024) until the end of Tuesday 12 Dhu Al Hijja (18 June 2024).

Service Providers Centres (Vehicle Testing)

All Service Providers Centres will be closed during Eid Al Adha holidays (15-18 June). Technical testing services only will resume on 12 Dhu Al Hijja (Tuesday 18 June). Public halls will resume operation as of 13 Dhu Al Hijja (Wednesday 19 June).

Customer Happiness Centres

All of RTA’s Customer Happiness Centres will be closed during Eid Al Adha holiday. The Smart Customer Happiness Centres at Umm Ramool, Deira, Barsha, Al Kifaf and RTA Head Office will remain operational as usual 24/7.
