ADNOC has awarded contracts worth Dhs 65.7 billion to nearly 400 local suppliers and service providers in the first half of 2025.

The contracts have contributed to the creation of over 17,000 private-sector jobs for Emiratis since the launch of ADNOC’s In-Country Value (ICV) programme in 2018. The latest contract awards further underscore ADNOC’s commitment to local employment and economic diversification.

Driving economic growth

The contract awards are part of ADNOC’s ICV programme, which aims to generate long-term value for the UAE economy by prioritising local businesses. ADNOC’s approach continues to strengthen national supply chains, enhance operational efficiency, and promote sustainable growth across key industries.

Dr. Saleh Al Hashmi, ADNOC Director of the Commercial & In-Country Value Directorate, stated, “The award of commercial contracts valued at Dhs 65.7 billion to a wide range of local suppliers emphasises the extent to which ADNOC’s In-Country Value programme continues to propel economic and industrial growth for the UAE. Our contract awards create a ripple effect across the economy, helping us to drive productivity, competitiveness and highly-skilled private sector jobs for local talent.”

Key contracts awarded

Among the key beneficiaries of the contracts are leading UAE-based companies such as NMDC Energy, Target Engineering, Al Dhafra Co-operative Society, and Euro Mechanical & Electrical Contracting. These firms have been instrumental in delivering value across ADNOC’s diverse operations.

Future growth plans

Looking ahead, ADNOC plans to channel an additional Dhs 200 billion ($54.5 billion) into the UAE economy over the next five years. The company is also targeting local production of Dhs 90 billion ($24.5 billion) worth of products by 2030. To further support local suppliers, ADNOC has launched the “Make it with ADNOC” mobile app, providing businesses with easy access to ADNOC’s procurement needs.

Building on the ICV programme

Since its launch in 2018, ADNOC’s ICV programme has been a key driver of industrial growth and job creation, continuing to play a significant role in the UAE’s long-term prosperity.

ADNOC encourages all local businesses to tap into its procurement pipeline and contribute to the nation’s industrial growth. Businesses can learn more about ADNOC’s commercial opportunities by visiting the company’s stand at the Make it in the Emirates Forum from May 19-22 at ADNEC in Abu Dhabi.
