Discounted healthcare in Sharjah

The Sharjah Health Authority (SHA) has partnered with Medcare Hospitals and Medical Centres to expand access to private healthcare for government employees and their families.

The agreement offers discounted rates across a range of medical services, including benefits for senior employees and family members aged 65 and above, as well as People of Determination.

The benefits will also extend to uninsured residents with disabilities, helping eligible individuals access private medical services at reduced rates without requiring health insurance coverage.

Home healthcare services included

The partnership covers Medcare’s home healthcare services, giving eligible beneficiaries access to medical support without having to visit a hospital or clinic.

Services include doctor-on-call consultations, home physiotherapy, short-term nursing care, wound care, injections and specialised IV therapy treatments delivered at home.

The agreement aims to improve access to medical care while offering greater flexibility to employees and their families.

Beneficiaries can access the discounted services at four Medcare locations in Sharjah:

  • Medcare Hospital, King Faisal Road
  • Medcare Hospital, Shaikh Saqr Al Qasimi Street
  • Medcare Medical Centre, Al Taawun
  • Medcare Medical Centre, Al Zahia
