The vibrant emirate of Fujairah once again strengthened its reputation as one of the UAE’s rising sporting destinations as the prestigious Road to MADO A/S1 – Fujairah Tennis Festival Week 2026 concluded in spectacular fashion at the Tennis & Country Club Fujairah.
Held under the sanctioning of the UAE Tennis Federation and officiated by tournament referee Laith Al Ani, the week-long event brought together elite professional players and promising juniors from across multiple nations, transforming Fujairah into a hub of competitive tennis, youthful ambition, and sporting excellence.

Against the backdrop of Fujairah’s scenic mountains and coastal beauty, the tournament delivered high-level performances, thrilling finals, and a showcase of emerging international talent that captivated players, families, and spectators alike.
In the Men’s Pro Circuit, Giovani Samaha produced a commanding display throughout the tournament before sealing the championship title with a dominant 6-1, 6-2 victory over Ayaan Malik in the final. Samaha’s consistency and aggressive court control proved decisive as he lifted one of the festival’s most prestigious trophies.
The Women’s Pro Circuit witnessed an equally impressive performance from Eva Busaad, who stormed through the final against Federica Barbieri with a commanding 6-0, 6-2 win. Busaad’s resilience had already been tested in a dramatic semifinal battle against Karina Ogorodnikova, where she recovered from a set down to triumph in a deciding match tiebreak.
The festival also highlighted the future generation of tennis stars across the junior divisions, with several players producing standout performances across multiple categories.
Among the most notable names of the tournament was Ayaan Malik, whose remarkable consistency saw him reach finals in multiple divisions, including the Men’s Pro Circuit, Boys Under-18, and Boys Under-16 categories. Although narrowly missing out on titles, Malik’s endurance and competitive spirit earned widespread admiration throughout the week.
Alex McDowall claimed the Boys Under-18 crown, while Alexi Luca Rafael Aldemita secured the Boys Under-16 title with an impressive straight-sets victory in the final. Mohamed Al Ali emerged victorious in the Boys Under-14 division after a hard-fought championship match, while Langdi Cao captured the Boys Under-12 title with composed performances throughout the event.
In the girls’ divisions, Karina Ogorodnikova lifted the Girls Under-18 trophy following a competitive final against Isabelle James. Elizaveta Korobova showcased exceptional composure to win the Girls Under-16 title, while Uchechukwu Uzokwe delivered one of the tournament’s strongest junior campaigns by capturing the Girls Under-14 championship after also reaching the Under-16 final. Adel Faller rounded off the winners’ list with victory in the Girls Under-12 category.
Tournament organizers praised the exceptional standard of competition and the growing international participation witnessed at the Fujairah Tennis Festival, noting that the event continues to position Fujairah as an important destination on the regional tennis calendar.
