Mariah Carey wows fans in Abu Dhabi with sold-out Saadiyat Nights show

Mariah Carey returned to Abu Dhabi on Sunday night with a sold-out performance at Saadiyat Nights, drawing thousands of fans to the open-air venue on Saadiyat Island.

The global pop star performed for a second consecutive year in the UAE capital, following her debut at Saadiyat Nights in 2024. Her set combined classic hits such as Hero, Fantasy, We Belong Together, and Always Be My Baby with new tracks from her latest album, Here For It All. Carey’s performance highlighted her five-octave range and signature soulful style.

Accompanied by a live band and backing vocalists, Carey engaged the audience throughout the evening. She addressed the crowd between songs, saying: “It’s wonderful to be back in Abu Dhabi. Thank you for such a warm welcome and for sharing this special evening with me.”

The sold-out show adds to the 2025–2026 Saadiyat Nights season, which continues with Canadian rock artist Bryan Adams performing on 11 February. The series concludes with seven-time Grammy winner John Mayer on 15 February.
