Third Avenue has opened a new 25-seat restaurant in Al Qarayen, Sharjah, offering Italian and Mediterranean dining alongside Khaltat Boutique’s perfume collection.
Third Avenue expands to Sharjah
The new restaurant is located at Shop 25, 56 2 St, Al Qarayen 4, Sharjah. Designed as a neighbourhood dining destination, it caters to customers throughout the day, from morning coffee and casual lunches to family dinners and desserts.
The opening marks an expansion for Third Avenue beyond its existing location at Dubai Mall, where the restaurant is known for its Fashion Avenue setting and views of the Burj Khalifa and Dubai Fountain.
In contrast, the Sharjah branch has a smaller, more intimate layout designed around the needs of the surrounding community. Its 25-seat capacity creates a setting for smaller gatherings, family meals and informal meet-ups.
The restaurant aims to attract customers at different times of the day, offering an alternative to venues primarily focused on lunch or dinner service.
Italian and Mediterranean dishes on the menu
The new Third Avenue restaurant serves a menu built around Italian and Mediterranean flavours, with a selection of appetisers, salads, handcrafted pizzas, pastas, risotto, main courses and desserts.

Among the featured dishes are Beetroot Carpaccio, Calamari Fritti, Truffle Mascarpone Pizza, Bergamot Rigatoni and Short Ribs Riso. The selection combines lighter starters with more substantial dishes, catering to different dining preferences.
Dessert options include Oro Verde, featuring pistachio ice cream, and classic Tiramisu.
According to the company, the menu has been adapted to suit the smaller restaurant while retaining a selection of Third Avenue’s established dishes. The offering is intended to accommodate different occasions, including a quick coffee, a relaxed afternoon visit, lunch with family or an evening meal.
The all-day format also positions the restaurant as a place customers can visit outside traditional lunch and dinner hours.
Restaurant interiors focus on a more intimate setting
The interiors are a central feature of the new Sharjah location, with curved architectural forms, layered textures, warm lighting and sculptural details shaping the space.

A circular bar sits at the centre of the restaurant, serving as a focal point, while curved seating follows the layout of the room. The design uses soft lighting and tactile finishes to create a warm atmosphere within the compact space.
The restaurant’s layout differs from its Dubai Mall counterpart, with a stronger emphasis on a neighbourhood setting rather than a large shopping destination.
Khaltat Boutique adds a fragrance element
One feature that distinguishes the Al Qarayen branch is its connection with Khaltat Boutique, which sits alongside the restaurant.
A curved glass wall separates the two spaces while maintaining a visual connection and allowing natural light to pass through. Customers can visit the perfume boutique before or after dining, bringing food and fragrance together in one location.
The shared setting is intended to encourage visitors to explore both concepts during the same visit, rather than treating the restaurant and boutique as entirely separate destinations.
Mohamed Hilal Group targets the Sharjah community
The opening reflects Third Avenue’s plan to establish a presence in a more residential setting, with the smaller venue designed to encourage repeat visits from people living in and around Al Qarayen.
Mohamed Hilal, founder and CEO of Mohamed Hilal Group, said: “Third Avenue has always been about creating an experience that extends beyond the food itself. With Sharjah, we had the opportunity to create something more intimate and personal, while keeping the elements that define Third Avenue — good food, thoughtful design and a strong sense of hospitality. Bringing Khaltat into the same space makes this location particularly special, and we look forward to welcoming the Sharjah community into it.”
The restaurant is now open to customers at Shop 25, 56 2 St, Al Qarayen 4, Sharjah, serving Italian and Mediterranean-inspired dishes throughout the day.
