Dubai’s dining scene is entering a new seasonal chapter, with InterContinental Dubai Marina preparing to introduce a series of culinary and leisure experiences that bring Mediterranean flavours, waterfront dining and rooftop evenings into focus.

Located in the heart of Dubai Marina, the hotel’s latest developments centre on its dining venues, with new concepts at Accents Restaurant & Terrace, the return of Rex Bar and refreshed poolside experiences designed around the Marina’s distinctive urban setting.

Accents Restaurant & Terrace

At Accents Restaurant & Terrace, a new weekday business lunch offers a relaxed setting for midday dining. Available from Monday to Friday, the menu features a choice of two or three courses, priced at Dhs 129 and Dhs 149 respectively. The concept caters to professionals seeking a convenient lunch meeting as well as diners looking for a more leisurely break during the working week.

The restaurant is also preparing to introduce Mediterranean Stories by Chef Tolga, a new weekly dining experience launching on 30 October. Created by Executive Chef Tolga Yavuz, the concept draws on his Mediterranean roots and culinary journey, bringing together seafood-led dishes inspired by the food traditions of Turkey, Greece, Italy and France.

Fresh seafood, citrus, olive oil and aromatic herbs form the foundation of the menu, with an emphasis on quality ingredients and flavours that allow the main components of each dish to take centre stage. Scheduled for Fridays, the experience will also feature live music, with the option of dining on the restaurant’s Marina-facing terrace as outdoor dining season gets underway.

Meanwhile, the hotel’s rooftop venue, Rex Bar, is set to reopen on 1 November on the 39th floor. Returning with its Italian-inspired identity and dolce vita atmosphere, the venue brings together Italian bites, cocktails and panoramic views across Dubai Marina.

The reopening marks the return of rooftop evenings at the hotel at a time when Dubai’s outdoor hospitality scene begins to gather momentum. With its elevated setting, Rex Bar adds another option for those looking to enjoy the city’s skyline and waterfront after sunset.

Lazy Sunday Lunch

Another addition to the seasonal calendar arrives on 1 November, when Accents introduces its Lazy Sunday Lunch. Designed around an unhurried Mediterranean-style afternoon, the experience will feature dishes intended for sharing, live music and views across the Marina.

The concept draws on the appeal of a long Sunday lunch, with waterfront scenery and a relaxed atmosphere encouraging diners to linger over food and conversation. Available every Sunday, the experience is priced at Dhs 199 per person, with a minimum booking of two guests.

Daytime pool access

Beyond its restaurants and rooftop, the hotel is also placing renewed emphasis on its poolside offering. The refreshed space combines elegant cabanas, lush landscaping and panoramic Marina views, creating an urban retreat within the surrounding high-rise district.

Daytime pool access is available for Dhs 149 on weekdays and Dhs 199 on weekends, with the full admission amount redeemable against food and beverages. An evening option, Night Swim, runs daily from 6pm to 9.30pm at Dhs 149, also fully redeemable on food and beverages. The experience combines poolside relaxation with the option of enjoying cocktails and dining into the evening.

Together, the new dining concepts, rooftop reopening and poolside experiences reflect the seasonal shift towards outdoor socialising in Dubai. For InterContinental Dubai Marina, the coming weeks bring a renewed focus on Mediterranean cuisine, waterfront settings and the varied ways residents and visitors can enjoy the city as temperatures begin to ease.
