InterContinental Dubai Marina has completed the refurbishment of all 132 rooms and suites, with redesigned accommodation welcoming guests from October 2026.
Dubai Marina hotel completes room refurbishment
The refurbishment introduces updated interiors, flexible living spaces and designs inspired by the waterfront surroundings, as the hotel prepares to welcome guests to its renovated rooms and suites.
The project was designed by Lulie Fisher Design Studio, drawing on the colours, light and reflections of Dubai Marina. The redesign focuses on making rooms suitable for different needs, including relaxing, working and dining during a stay.
The hotel said the new interiors combine natural tones, considered lighting, curved furniture and contemporary finishes to create a calmer atmosphere while maintaining a connection to the Marina views.
What guests can expect from the new rooms
The redesigned collection includes Classic Rooms, Premium Rooms and Executive Suites, with different layouts and features depending on the accommodation category.

Classic Rooms are designed as quieter retreats from the surrounding city, while Premium Rooms offer more space. Selected Premium Room categories also include private balconies overlooking Dubai Marina.
Executive Suites feature open-plan layouts that connect the bedroom and living area, alongside spacious bathrooms with freestanding bathtubs.
The refurbishment also introduces furniture and layouts intended to accommodate different activities throughout the day, allowing guests to move between working, dining and relaxing without needing separate spaces.
Oversized daybeds and tables positioned near windows are among the features designed to make the Marina views part of the guest experience.
Selected rooms include Club InterContinental access
Guests staying in selected Marina View rooms and suites can also access Club InterContinental, which offers additional services and refreshments.
These include personalised service, daily breakfast, afternoon tea, refreshments and evening cocktails and canapés.
Access is limited to the eligible room and suite categories, with the hotel identifying selected Marina View accommodation as part of the offering.
Hotel retains its wider leisure facilities
The refurbishment covers the hotel’s 132 rooms and suites. Its 196 fully serviced Residence Suites, which were refurbished in 2024, form a separate part of the accommodation offering.
InterContinental Dubai Marina also has dining venues, an outdoor swimming pool overlooking the Marina, a spa, a fitness centre and event spaces.
Located in Dubai Marina, the hotel offers access to the neighbourhood’s residential, dining and entertainment areas.
Antje Sahling, general manager of InterContinental Dubai Marina, said the project was intended to improve how guests experience their stay rather than focus solely on appearance.
“Our newly redesigned rooms mark an exciting new chapter for InterContinental Dubai Marina. From the beginning, our ambition was to think beyond aesthetics and focus on how our guests experience their stay: creating spaces that feel intuitive, welcoming and effortless. Together with Lulie Fisher Design Studio, we wanted to create a new experience that feels distinctly InterContinental and gives our guests a true sense of comfort and belonging.”
The renovated rooms and suites are scheduled to welcome guests from October 2026. The hotel has not specified room rates in the announcement.
