Global Village will return for its 31st season on Wednesday, October 14 at 6pm, giving UAE residents another major family entertainment option for the cooler months.
The new season will bring together 29 pavilions representing more than 90 cultures, alongside more than 3,500 shopping outlets and over 250 food and dining options.
New attractions and experiences
Among the biggest additions is Tokyo Rush, a new roller coaster scheduled to launch later in the season. The ride will feature high-speed sections, sharp turns and a loop.
The Carnaval area will also receive a refreshed look, including redesigned Festival Wheel carts.
More than 200 attractions will be available across the destination, including rides, arcade games and family entertainment. Returning attractions include The Dragon Kingdom, The Horror Hotel, Secrets of the Lost City and Exo Planet City.
More food choices for visitors
Season 31 will add several new dining options, including Trabzon Turkish Restaurant and three concepts at Restaurant Plaza: Robo Al Sham, Hawawshi Al Rabie and Chicking.
Three new cafés — Vinci Dolci, Emir Bey Gourmet and Uzungol Café — will also join the food offering.
The destination will have more than 250 dining options during the season.
New shows and family entertainment
Global Village is planning 40,000 shows throughout the season, including the new stunt production Fast Live 2: The Police Strikes Back.
Two new anchor shows, Bollywood Idol and Bank Heist, will also debut.
Younger visitors can return to the Kids Theatre for appearances featuring Care Bears and PJ Masks, while Slam will return after previous seasons.
New facilities for visitors
Global Village is also introducing changes aimed at making visits easier.
A new VIP Parking Self-Payment system will allow visitors to pay for parking at dedicated vending machines before reaching exit points.
The destination is also expanding Family POD Washrooms and adding more directional signage across parking areas.
A new WhatsApp Chatbot will provide visitors with information and support through their mobile phones.
Global Village ticket prices and timings
Season 31 tickets will cost Dhs 25 on weekdays and Dhs 30 from Friday to Sunday and on public holidays.
For the remainder of the season, Global Village will operate from 4pm to midnight from Sunday to Wednesday, and from 4pm to 1am from Thursday to Saturday and on public holidays.
Tickets will be available through the Global Village website and mobile app, as well as at the gates from October 14.
