Umm Al Emarat Park has announced the launch of its 2025-26 winter season, featuring a variety of family-friendly events, wellness activities, and cultural programmes running through to April 2026.
Located in central Abu Dhabi, the park’s seasonal line-up aims to offer a mix of community-focused entertainment, outdoor fun, and educational experiences for all age groups.
Weekly park market returns
The Park Market will reopen on October 24 and run every Friday and Saturday until April 4, bringing together more than 60 local vendors.
Now located near the Children’s Garden and Outdoor Cinema, the market features handmade goods, food stalls, live entertainment, and kids’ activities.
A new feature called “Halek” (Arabic for “Your solution”) will take place on October 24 and 25. The initiative focuses on raising awareness about postpartum depression and mental health, encouraging open conversations among visitors.
Cinema, animals and rides
The outdoor “Cinema in the Park” returns from October 17 to March 31, screening family films every Friday and Saturday at 6:00PM. Screenings will pause during Ramadan.
Animal lovers can visit the returning Animal Barn pop-up to feed animals for Dhs 10, or enjoy pony and camel rides for Dhs 15. Visitors can also meet animal keepers and take photos.
Activities and education
Freestyle trampoline park BOUNCE is back until February, offering kids the chance to join the Vibe Tribe and try jumps and tricks with guidance from instructors.
Daily falcon shows will begin October 15, running from 5:00PM to 6:00PM. The sessions allow guests to watch traditional falconry in action and speak with the falconers.
The park is also resuming its school education programmes, which include tailored sessions on sustainability, desert life, ecosystems and UAE heritage.
Focus on wellness
In partnership with Celestial Karisma, weekly wellness activities will take place under the theme “Nature Meets Mindfulness.” These include sound healing, Full Moon rituals, and free yoga sessions every Saturday, Sunday and Wednesday.
Children can continue to enjoy splash play zones and birthday party packages, in collaboration with Kidz Factory, throughout the season.
Park entry and hours
Umm Al Emarat Park is open daily from 8:00AM to 12:00 midnight, with final entry at 11:00PM. Tickets cost Dhs 10 and give access to all public facilities and ongoing events.
Rasha Kablawi, official spokesperson for Umm Al Emarat Park, said: “In alignment with the Year of Community, we’re delighted to build on the success of last year with an exciting schedule of activities, partnerships and events – all centred around key celebrations such as Eid Etihad, New Year, and other festive occasions.
“Beyond entertainment, our initiatives are designed to give back to Abu Dhabi’s community. From inclusive experiences, educational programmes and accessible events to community outreach, volunteer opportunities and collaborations with local organisations, we are committed to creating meaningful experiences for all.”
