Bhatia General Contracting is set to complete the handover of 1,050 villas in the Al Khawaneej 2 district by the end of May 2025.
This milestone is part of the UAE’s ongoing effort to provide high-quality, modern housing for Emirati families, contributing to sustainable urban development in Dubai.
Part of Dubai’s 2033 Vision
This housing project plays a significant role in the ‘Dubai 2033 Plan,’ a strategic initiative aimed at enhancing the city’s global position as a highly livable urban center.
The villas, located in a master-planned community, are designed to meet the growing demand for quality residential spaces in the emirate. The completion of this project brings the total value of projects executed by Bhatia General Contracting since 2024 to Dhs 2.5 billion.
It is also a key component of the historic Dhs 65 billion housing budget approved by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE, and Ruler of Dubai, which extends until 2040. This initiative is a clear indication of the leadership’s commitment to providing sustainable and modern housing solutions to Emirati citizens.
A Commitment to quality and sustainability
Ajay Bhatia, Chairman of Bhatia General Contracting and Founder of SOL Properties, expressed pride in the project, stating: “This landmark housing development stands as a testament to our visionary leadership’s dedication to enriching citizens’ lives and nurturing their dreams.
“Aligning with this vision, and as we celebrate our 50th anniversary at Bhatia Group, we continue to strive to create welcoming spaces which can enrich the lives of residents and foster a sense of belonging. In this regard, the 1050 Villas Complex stands out as an epitome of thoughtful, sustainable urban living, designed to serve both present and future generations.”
Bhatia General Contracting’s track record of high-quality, reliable construction spans over 250 projects, including major developments such as the Dubai Government’s Ambulance complex, the Dubai Central Laboratory, and the Dubai Waterfront Market. This extensive experience has earned the company a reputation as one of the most trusted names in the UAE’s construction sector.
Comprehensive Community Design
The villas in Al Khawaneej 2 are part of a well-planned community designed to promote sustainability and improve residents’ quality of life. The development includes green spaces, pedestrian and cycling paths, a nursery, and a community park, among other essential facilities.
A key feature of the community is its seamless connectivity, designed to reduce the reliance on vehicles and align with Dubai’s vision for sustainable urban living. Additionally, the complex offers digitally integrated services, including smart financial service systems and landscaped roads.
