The UAE passport has once again been ranked as the strongest passport in the world. This achievement follows a recent update from the Passport Index, a global ranking system by financial consulting firm Arton Capital.
The update reveals that the Emirati passport now grants its holders access to 180 countries, including 127 that can be visited without a visa.
Additionally, citizens can obtain a visa online or upon arrival in 53 countries, covering over 90% of the world’s nations. The passport now requires a visa for only 18 countries out of the 198 recognized by the United Nations.
In second place is the Spanish passport, which allows entry to 179 countries.
A total of 14 countries shared the third position, including Finland, France, Germany, Belgium, Italy, Denmark, the Netherlands, Luxembourg, Australia, Portugal, Norway, Switzerland, Greece, and Ireland. Their passports provide visa-free access to 178 countries.
