Global Village will reopen for its 30th season on October 15 with several new attractions and upgrades aimed at enhancing the visitor experience.
New garden area
One of the major additions this year is Gardens of the World, a newly designed space located between the Egypt and Iran pavilions. The area features floral displays and miniature landmarks from around the world, offering a calm, family-friendly setting for walks and relaxation.
Visitors will find it easier to move around the park with the introduction of Way Finding screens, placed across the venue. In addition, new S30 Passports and stamping stations at each pavilion aim to create a more interactive experience for guests.
Dragon-themed adventure
A key highlight this season is The Dragon Kingdom, a fantasy-themed walk-through attraction featuring 11 rooms. Guests will join a story-led journey through Blackstone Hollow, solving puzzles to help the last dragon, Ignis, regain his powers. Each room offers a different setting, from enchanted forests to fiery caves.
Children’s indoor zone
A new attraction for younger visitors, The Little Wonderers at Carnaval®, is set to open later in the season. Designed with futuristic neon theming, the indoor adventure park will include obstacle courses, climbing structures, tunnels, ball pits, and more.
Upgraded entertainment areas
The Main Stage is undergoing a full transformation and will return with increased capacity and updated production features. It will host a new lineup of live shows and cultural performances throughout the season.
Ticket counters at the entrance are being fitted with new digital screens, while LED signage across the park will help guide visitors. Landscaping is being refreshed both inside and outside the venue.
Dragon Lake, known for housing the world’s largest underwater screen, is getting a new high-definition display. The central dragon feature will also include upgraded fire effects.
Revamped entrances and streets
New arches will mark the Abu Dhabi and Sharjah entrances. The Sharjah Tunnel is being redeveloped with a colourful new theme. Fiesta Street is expanding, and the Railway Market has been renamed Dessert District, combining nostalgic design with modern touches.
Other updates include a redesigned Indian Chaat Bazaar and a new visual look for Happiness Street. The popular Road of Asia returns this year as Asia Boulevard, showcasing culinary and cultural elements from across the continent.
Global Village’s 30th season continues its tradition of offering diverse attractions, dining options, and entertainment for residents and visitors in the UAE.
