Wasl has announced a large-scale expansion of Jumeirah Golf Estates (JGE), launching a new masterplan that adds over 12,000 residential units and aligns with Dubai’s long-term urban growth strategy.
Jumeirah Golf Estates
The new phase, titled Jumeirah Golf Estates – The Next Chapter, spans 4.68 million square metres and will introduce 12,345 new homes. These include 780 villas, 62 hilltop mansions, 97 branded residences, 752 estate homes, and over 10,600 apartments. Once completed, the community will accommodate more than 51,700 residents.
Strong transport links
Located along Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed Road (E311), the development offers direct access to the under-construction Etihad Rail station and future Dubai Metro links. It will also connect to four key roads, and is situated near Al Maktoum International Airport, strengthening regional connectivity.
Parks, schools and amenities
The project includes 1.5 million square metres of green and open space. A 131,850 sqm Central Park — among the largest in a Dubai residential development — will sit at the heart of the new districts.
The plan also features 48,000 sqm of retail and dining, a 46,000 sqm international school campus, healthcare centres, religious buildings, and recreational trails.
Sports and wellness focus
An 18-hole golf course, equestrian centre with show-jumping facilities, and Dubai’s largest planned tennis stadium (with capacity for 5,000 spectators) will anchor the development’s active living vision.
The six new districts — including Central Park, Equestrian Village, and Golf Course North and South — will be connected by green corridors.
A Mandarin Oriental resort will be introduced to enhance the hospitality offering in the community.
Aligned with Dubai’s vision
“The unveiling of Jumeirah Golf Estates – The Next Chapter represents a pivotal milestone for Wasl and a defining moment for the evolution of urban development in Dubai,” said Hesham Abdullah Al Qassim, Group CEO of Wasl.
“Through visionary planning, sustainable design principles, and an unwavering commitment to enhancing quality of life, we are shaping the communities of tomorrow.”
The masterplan supports the Dubai 2040 Urban Master Plan and reflects Wasl’s strategy to develop integrated, future-ready communities that meet the evolving needs of a growing, diverse population.
