Union Coop hosts Emirati family exhibition at Al Barsha Mall

Union Coop has launched the “Bahjat Al Eid” exhibition at Al Barsha Mall, offering a platform for Emirati productive families to showcase their home-based businesses. The event runs from June 1 to 5, 2025.

This community-focused initiative is part of Union Coop’s broader efforts to support local entrepreneurs and enhance the shopping experience by integrating cultural and locally-made products into its retail spaces.

Support for local businesses

Through dedicated space within its commercial centers, Union Coop aims to help small ventures grow into sustainable sources of income. The current exhibition allows participating families to directly engage with shoppers and display a variety of items, including traditional food, sweets, perfumes, clothing, accessories, and handicrafts.

Focus on quality and culture

Union Coop stated: “The Bahjat Al Eid Exhibition is designed to add value for customers by introducing innovative and diverse products from Emirati families.”

The cooperative also noted that customers increasingly seek quality and authenticity, and that supporting productive families helps meet these preferences while strengthening ties between local producers and the wider community.

The exhibition aligns with Union Coop’s corporate social responsibility efforts to support home-based businesses and promote economic inclusion. The initiative also contributes to enhancing national identity through locally made goods.

Union Coop has encouraged the public to visit the exhibition and explore a wide range of products that reflect the skills and creativity of Emirati families.
